Meshtastic is an open source, off-grid, decentralized, mesh network built to run on affordable, low-power devices using LoRa. Getting Started
The easiest way to get started is to pick up a basic LoRa board and antenna. A few of us have gotten started with this setup, which comes in a 2 pack and is great for setting up a base station at home and keeping one for on-the-go.
