⚙️ Help Root Access get a CNC machine!
Our space is filled with the tools and equipment you need to bring your projects to life, and our community is filled with people that will make you feel like you belong.
We are located on Van Ness Ave in the Tower District, one block south of Fresno City College. Come check us out!
We are currently running limited hours due to COVID-19. Classes and meetups may still occur throughout the week. Check the calendar for more information.

Sorry, we're closed right now.
As much as we all want to hang out and work on projects together, remember that we're still in a pandemic. The last thing we want is a COVID-19 outbreak in the Root Access community, so please follow these guidelines if you're planning on coming to the hackerspace.
Everyone coming to the space should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless there is a valid age, medical, or religious reason for an exemption.
Please wear a face mask when inside the space. Cloth masks are okay, N95/KN95 masks are better. We have disposable masks on hand, if you need one.
If you have, or have had a recent exposure to, COVID-19, whether you are showing symptoms or not, do not come to the space until you're in the clear.
Thanks for your patience and understanding as we try to keep the space open in a way that also keeps everyone safe!
After nearly 500 days of closure, we're very excited to announce that the hackerspace will be reopening to members on July 16th! 🎉
We want to take a moment to acknowledge the passage of time in what has been quite a year.
After nearly three years of heavy use, our inexpensive and heavily modified 40-watt laser cutter has bit the dust. Help us buy a bigger, better, badder one!
Pi Day will look a bit different this year, but we hope you'll join us in celebrating the Raspberry Pi!
We have a number of 3D printers for all kinds of prototyping, manufacturing, and general tinkering.
We have one of the largest and most powerful community-access laser cutters in the Central Valley.
Lots of tools and a componant library for electronics projects. Be careful not to release the magic smoke!
We're a space full of tech geeks. If it's bleeding-edge tech, you'll find someone here who's interested in it.
Sewing machines and sergers, knitting needles and crochet hooks, and much more for all your crafting needs.
From hand tools to power tools, it's time to get your hands dirty and build something cool.
Kick back and watch a movie or play some video games. You know what they say about all work and no play.
More than a building full of tools – we're a community of creative makers who love sharing what we know.
