Rudimentary Operation Of Tools (ROOT) classes will teach you how to correctly and safely use the equipment at the hackerspace. These classes can generally be taken in any order, and require no prior skills or experience. Once you have successfully passed a ROOT class, you are cleared to use that equipment on your own. (Of course, you can always ask us for help!)

Workshops are guided project builds, and you will generally walk away with something you made. They can run as a one session event or through multiple sessions for more involved projects. You may or may not need to bring your own materials or additional tools.

Anyone can take our classes, but members get a discount on class fees.
