Your donations directly contribute to the vitality of Fresno's tech, maker, and arts scene.

Root Access is an all-volunteer, community-supported organization, and we rely on memberships and donations to keep it all going. And let's be real: running a hackerspace isn't cheap – there's rent and utilities, purchasing and maintaining tools and equipment, and lots of other supplies that we need for us to be a cool spot for the community.

Root Access is a registered non-profit corporation in the State of California. We are in the process of seeking 501(c)(3) status.

Become a Member

There's no better way to get plugged in to the community than by becoming a member and spending time at the space. Members are free to be at the space and use our facilities to work on projects any time.

Donate Online

Donations can be made on this page. We accept all major credit cards and cryptocurrencies.

Checks must be made payable to Root Access, and can be mailed to the space or dropped-off in person.

Cash donations can be deposited into the donation box at the front of the space.

Buy our Merch

Pick up some cool swag to rep the space – we've got t-shirts, mugs, and more – and we'll get a cut of the profits.

Matching Gifts

Matching gifts are a great way to increase your giving! Talk to your employer and see if they will match your donation to Root Access.
